A glycolic cream made here in New Zealand

Over 20 years ago Dr Ian Little (of Dermatech) went to California for a facial peel workshop together with other physicians from all over the world. While there he learnt about the amazing properties of glycolic acid and knew immediately that this was a necessary accompaniment for his clientele attending him for appearance medicine treatments. At that time there were no alpha-hydroxy acid products available in New Zealand.

Initially he experimented with different strengths of Glycolic Acid in various emollient creams to find the treatment product he was looking for. Assisted by a local pharmacist, Dr Little started producing creams himself for his clientele.

Inevitably the product became so popular with his clients, colleagues, doctors, dermatologists, plastic surgeons and beauty therapists, that he had to approach a large manufacturing chemist to produce this wonderful product in sufficient quantities to meet increasing demand.

Since then we have expanded our range of high quality products to include skincare products developed around our Glycolic Cream to create the Dermatech Treatment System.
